Pre-Trip Post

It's almost time to boogie, but first...

For those of you family and friends that have supported us getting on our way, thank you so much! Whether it was coordinating a dentist appointment, downloading skype, letting us store things in your garage, driving from Glenwood Springs to take things away, encouraging us at the moment we had to choose a school, we can not thank you enough.

The Bride, Kirsten, has just wrapped up an invigorating and successful year at Colorado College earning a master's degree in Teaching Secondary Art. She not only had a high GPA, she more importantly had the highest compliments of her peers, supervisors, and professors by earning the right to speak on their behalf at the graduation ceremony. She took full advantage this year to demonstrate her genuine passion for leadership and teaching.

I gained invaluable experience in my 6th year of teaching by adding many unique challenges such as teaching science, literacy, and character development to my repertoire. I was pushed in a new way and learned to value the experience!

We took care of each other, in doing so, have become closer and more encouraged to push our comfort zones and take off to China!

So, back to you...

If you are reading that means you want to see more of China...we'll try not to disappoint. Until then, thanks for your support and hope you come visit!
